Case Study-Sylva Food Solutions


“Naomie and I have been working at Sylva Food Solutions. The company’s mission is to promote healthy eating habits in Zambia and encourage the consumption of nutritious local foods. Sylva Food Solutions is about to begin the manufacturing of a range of new products. Our role so far has been to work on a marketing strategy for the new range of products. This has involved working out a marketing budget and doing market research on our competitors. We have also been part of the tasting process, getting to try lots of yummy porridge! It has been really interesting to witness the products be made and tested in the kitchen, and then once the recipe was perfected, watching it be manufactured by the machinery for the first time (although it did leave us covered in a porridge dust!)” – Ellie Staunton (UK)
